Everything you need to know about Fooshi commissions — accounts, messaging, pricing, and how we handle your data.
02Account & Login
Signing in & guest orders
Signing in with Discord is the smoothest path — your commission links to your account automatically, you get dashboard updates, and you can message staff directly from the order page. Recommended, but not required.
Yes. Submit the form without signing in and your order still lands in our queue. Log in later with the same Discord account and the commission slides into your dashboard.
Our community lives on Discord, so it's the one identity we know you'll already have. It also gives staff a reliable way to ping you about milestones without sharing emails or extra accounts.
Not right now. Discord OAuth is the only sign-in method. If that's a blocker for you, send a ticket and we'll find a way to help.
Recover your Discord first (Discord Support handles that directly), then log back in here. We don't reassign commissions to a different account — they're tied to the original Discord ID for security.
03Optimization Process
Timeline, revisions, what to provide
Roughly:
- Retexture / color edits — 1 to 3 days
- Modifications / partial edits — 3 to 7 days
- Full custom Fooshi — 1 to 3 weeks depending on scope
Two free revision rounds on every commission. After that we quote a small fee per round so the queue keeps moving — most orders never need it.
Anything that helps us picture the vibe: existing avatars you love, color palettes, mood boards, character art, in-game screenshots. Multiple angles > one cherry-picked shot.
No. We don't accept NSFW, gore, hateful, or copyright-infringing requests. Staff can refuse a commission for any of those reasons and refund you in full if it slipped past the form.
You own your copy of the Mamehinata base model. Our fan-made optimizations are for your personal use within VRChat. Please follow the original creator's TOS at all times.
Sometimes. Ask in the commission thread — if the artist has bandwidth we'll quote a rush fee that bumps you forward without shoving the rest of the queue back.
04Messaging
Talking to staff mid-order
Each commission has a built-in thread on its detail page. Post updates, references, or questions and replies land back in the same thread. Staff get a notification on every message.
Inside your dashboard first. For bigger milestones (first draft, final delivery) we also ping you on Discord.
Most replies land within 24 hours; complex art questions can take a little longer. We try to keep response times tight even on weekends.
Open a support ticket from the dashboard or ping us on Discord — sometimes a message gets buried, and we want to fix that immediately.
05Project Support
Supporting the project
Fooshi Mafia is a fan project. We suggest a small contribution (starting at $10) to cover the time spent on technical optimizations. This is not a commercial sale of the model itself.
No upfront contribution is required to submit a request. We'll confirm the scope first, then send a Stripe link once you're happy with the suggested amount.
Stripe Checkout — major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link. We don't take direct bank transfers, crypto, or PayPal.
Nope. The price you confirm is the price you pay. Stripe handles the processing on their side at no extra charge to you.
Yes, case-by-case. If work hasn't started, we'll refund the full amount. Once we're in-flight, partial refunds depend on how far along the project is.
The goal is that you're happy with the final Fooshi — message us on Discord or in-dashboard and we'll sort it.

Occasionally — watch the Discord announcements for seasonal drops, group-order discounts, and partner promos.
06Premade Fooshis
How the gallery works
Premades are ready-to-wear Fooshis already designed by our artists — pick one, pay, and we get you set up to wear it in VRChat. Custom commissions are built around your references and take longer.
Some are one-of-one (sold once, then retired); others are limited editions with a small run. Each gallery card shows its availability. Once an exclusive sells, it's gone for good.
Yes — small color or accessory edits are usually quick. Larger changes get quoted as a separate Modification commission.
07Community & Joining
Hanging out, rules, the basics
Hop into the Discord, read the rules, drop an introduction in #welcome, and you're in. From there you'll find regular VRChat hangouts, movie nights, and karaoke calls.
You must be at least 16 to join the Discord or hang out with the group in VRChat. Commissions are open to anyone — you can submit a purchase request from the dashboard without joining the community. We also host 18+ instances from time to time, gated separately for verified adult members.
No. Plenty of members hang out purely in Discord. VRChat helps for events but isn't required.
We promote from within — stick around, contribute, and senior staff will reach out when openings appear. You can also DM a mod expressing interest.
Inside the Discord under #rules, and a summary lives on the Community Info page on this site.
08Data & Privacy
What we store, why
Only what's needed to run commissions:
- Discord username (if provided)
- Commission request details
- Messages tied to your commission
- Uploaded reference images
No sensitive personal data. We don't ask for anything beyond what's required to complete your order and talk to you about it.
No. Your information is only used internally to manage your commission and communicate with staff.
Only your public profile basics — username, avatar, banner. It cannot read your DMs, post as you, or impersonate you in any way.
Yes. Open a ticket from your dashboard and ask for deletion. Once your commissions are wrapped up (or refunded), we wipe the associated records on request.
We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to track aggregate page views and performance. No personal identifiers are sold or shared with advertisers.
09Technical
Site issues & browsers
Latest Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, and Samsung Internet on mobile. Older versions might still work but aren't actively tested.
Hard-refresh: Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R on desktop, or pull-to-refresh on mobile. If that doesn't help, clear the site's storage in your browser settings.
Try once more, then disable any aggressive ad-blocker or VPN (some block our auth + CDN endpoints). If it persists, send the error message in a Discord support ticket.
